Aroma
Flavour
“Orange peel and sugar, with a pinch of pepper.”
The breeder and the databases describe a sweet citrus nose of orange and tangerine over earth, spice and a little flower, with a sugary orange taste and a sharp touch of mint. The effect is billed as bright and daytime: an energetic, creative lift with a light physical calm under it rather than sedation.
The New York jar, from Jenny's in Columbia County, tests with pepper-spice caryophyllene ahead of its citrus. Provisional: the descriptions come from the breeder's sales text and two databases, one of them a single review, and Jenny's has not said its plant is Purple City's.

Orange 76 is classified as sativa in the SŌMA catalog. These labels are a loose shorthand rather than a precise prediction of effect; studies find they do not reliably track a plant's genetics or chemistry.
By sensory profile, the closest strains in the SŌMA catalog include Manipuri, Lemon Pepper and Lemon Bars. SŌMA matches on aroma, flavour and effect rather than name alone.
