gas-og
East Side OG is Mad Scientist Genetics' blend of six OG cuts from the Washington–Baltimore scene, and ElectraLeaf grows it in New York under that credit.
Did you try it?
“Sour fuel on the inhale, cheese and earth behind it.”
The breeder's one line on it is a sour breath that smokes clean, and the jar bears that out: a sharp, sour-fuel inhale, a funky cheese-and-diesel pungency that the reference sites all mention, and an earthy, peppery, herbal exhale. The lab panels show lemon and pepper, the part of it a panel can see.
The effect is where people disagree. Some describe a talkative, energetic start that slides into sleep; others meet it as a heavy indica straight away, with serious munchies.
Either way it ends in the body, so it suits evenings better than errands, and the potency surprises people who expect an old-school OG.
Aroma
Flavour
The record above is the cultivar. Each grower's jar is its own plant — here is how their lots measure, from lab panels New York menus print.
Sensory data is a curated, hand-mapped seed; detail completeness is medium. Identity confidence is medium. The diagram is this strain's own sensory radar, not a photo. Batch quality still depends on grower, freshness and storage — none of which is captured here.
East Side OG is typically described with aromas of diesel, earthy, cheese / funk and spicy and flavours of diesel, earthy, cheese / funk and citrus. Aroma and flavour vary with grower, batch and freshness.
East Side OG is commonly associated with effects such as relaxed, sleepy, hungry and uplifted. Effects are subjective and depend on dose, setting and the individual — this is sensory guidance, not a guarantee.
East Side OG is classified as hybrid in the SŌMA catalog. These labels are a loose shorthand rather than a precise prediction of effect; the plant's full chemistry and how it was grown matter more.
By sensory profile, the closest strains in the SŌMA catalog include Cheese and Chong, Secret Stash and Bermuda Triangle. SŌMA matches on aroma, flavour and effect rather than name alone.
