Lineage confidence: low — independent of how well-documented the strain itself is.
South Florida OG is typically described with aromas of gassy, earthy, pine and diesel and flavours of diesel, earthy, citrus and pine. Aroma and flavour vary with grower, batch and freshness.
South Florida OG is commonly associated with effects such as relaxed, sleepy, heavy body and deep couch-lock. Effects are subjective and vary with the dose, the way cannabis is taken and the individual — this is sensory guidance, not a guarantee.
South Florida OG is classified as indica in the SŌMA catalog. These labels are a loose shorthand rather than a precise prediction of effect; studies find they do not reliably track a plant's genetics or chemistry.
By sensory profile, the closest strains in the SŌMA catalog include High Octane OG, Yoda OG and Face Off OG. SŌMA matches on aroma, flavour and effect rather than name alone.
