Island Mountain Headband is Rebel Grown's attempt to keep Humboldt's old Headband clone alive as seed: the breeder grew the clone for years around Island Mountain Road, lost its gas in one generation, and spent another decade selecting back to plants that smelled like the original.

In New York it is Alchemy Pure's sun-grown jar. The nose the breeder bred for is fuel first, the greasy gas that made Headband sellable as either OG or Sour Diesel, and the New York lot's lab panel adds a bright lemon on top, with pepper and a little earth underneath; some seed plants lean skunky instead.
The effect, by the grower's account and the few reviews there are, is an uplifted, happy head that stays awake while the body relaxes, the familiar light band around the temples included. It tests strong.
