purple-berry
El Chivo, 'the goat', is a Compound Genetics cross of its OGKB and Blueberry Headband line with Grape Gas, the same seed line that gave Glitter Bomb.
Did you try it?
“Blueberry candy and kerosene, then a heavy, happy calm.”
The breeder describes the nose as sweet grape and blueberry candy with kerosene gas and a perfumed edge; smokers add earth and a peppery spice, which New York's lab panels, both led by caryophyllene, bear out. The effect arrives fast as a tingle across the head and neck, then sinks into a heavy, happily weighted calm that can end on the couch or in sleep.
It tests strong here. Provisional: five New York brands sell it and none says whose seed it is, and one of them labels its jar a sativa.

Aroma
Flavour
The record above is the cultivar. Each grower's jar is its own plant — here is how their lots measure, from lab panels New York menus print.
Sensory data is a curated, hand-mapped seed; detail completeness is medium. Identity confidence is medium. The diagram is this strain's own sensory radar, not a photo. Batch quality still depends on grower, freshness and storage — none of which is captured here.
El Chivo is typically described with aromas of berry, gassy, sweet and spicy and flavours of berry, sweet, gassy and spicy. Aroma and flavour vary with grower, batch and freshness.
El Chivo is commonly associated with effects such as relaxed, calm head, sleepy and heavy body. Effects are subjective and depend on dose, setting and the individual — this is sensory guidance, not a guarantee.
El Chivo is classified as hybrid in the SŌMA catalog. These labels are a loose shorthand rather than a precise prediction of effect; the plant's full chemistry and how it was grown matter more.
By sensory profile, the closest strains in the SŌMA catalog include Platinum GSC, Scotch & Soda and Blackberry. SŌMA matches on aroma, flavour and effect rather than name alone.
