Double OG Chem comes out of Rebel Grown's Southern Humboldt greenhouse, where Dan Pomerantz crossed an OG Chem into an OG Sour and then kept the line going as seed, and it has spent the years since collecting Emerald Cup ribbons as a sun-grown flower.

The jar is loud before it is anything else: raw fuel and the sharp chemical stank of Chemdog, with pine behind it, a skunky, earthy low end and only a faint lemon. On the palate the chem note leads, spicy and a little woody, and some people find a trace of apple behind it.
The effect starts in the body, a slow soothing weight that loosens the shoulders, then a happy and fairly clear head arrives on top, calm enough to stay present rather than drifting off. The catch is its strength and its edge: a few smokers report anxiety or racing thoughts on a first heavy session, and a seed-grown jar can lean more OG or more Sour than another.
