“Lemon and tart berry over minty gas, then heavy fuel.”
The company describes a bright opening of lemon, eucalyptus and tart berries over minty gas and a grape sweetness, and a palate that turns to heavy fuel with raspberry and grape underneath and a nutty, minty finish. The lab panel of the New York lot leads with limonene, which fits the citrus opening.
The high is described as strong but even: clearer and creative first, then a slow wash of relaxation. Provisional: the description is the brand's own, nobody independent has written up the New York jar, and Connected does not publish the parents.
The record above is the cultivar. Each grower's jar is its own plant — here is how their lots measure, from lab panels New York menus print.
Chrome is typically described with aromas of citrus, berry, gassy and mint and flavours of diesel, berry, grape and earthy. Aroma and flavour vary with grower, batch and freshness.
Chrome is commonly associated with effects such as creative, uplifted and relaxed. Effects are subjective and vary with the dose, the way cannabis is taken and the individual — this is sensory guidance, not a guarantee.
Chrome is classified as hybrid in the SŌMA catalog. These labels are a loose shorthand rather than a precise prediction of effect; studies find they do not reliably track a plant's genetics or chemistry.
By sensory profile, the closest strains in the SŌMA catalog include Electric Grape, Grape Stomper and Permanent Chimera. SŌMA matches on aroma, flavour and effect rather than name alone.
