Aroma
Flavour
“Sweet grape and berry over a damp, earthy base, dessert-leaning.”
The nose is fruity and earthy: sweet grape and berry over a damp, earthy base, dessert-leaning. The effect is exactly the name — a fast, heavy body blow that drops you toward the couch and sleep, with little cerebral lift.
It's a blunt instrument, potent and sedating, made for evenings, pain and insomnia rather than productivity. For people who want grape-sweet knockout, 9 Pound Hammer earns its name.
